Description:-
A rally of 08 cyclists started on 16th Jan 2020 to spread awareness against Trafficking of Women and Children in India. India has 2 Million women and children trafficked Each year. The group visit schools/colleges and speak to students on Trafficking. The project was started in 2017 and this year is 4th consecutive year they are doing such a project.
This year, the group is running and cycling from Mumbai to Delhi covering 1450 km. The main team consists of 8 members. Two members are Americans & 6 members are Indians. The Team members were from Karnataka, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & USA.
We got the opportunity to felicitate the group on Jan 30, 2020 at Dev Sukhdev Dhaba, NH-8 Rewari. The enthusiastic students of Gurukulam The School, Masani joined us at the venue to welcome the riders. Rtn. John Moriarty from Rotary Club of Westerville OHIO, USA interacted with the students and make them aware about evils of human trafficking. Rotary Club of Rewari Main exchanged the flag with him. Rtn. Godfrey from Rotary Club of Bangalore Kalyan also exchanged the flag with our club.

They loved the traditional welcome done by Sukhdev Dhaba (organised Rajasthani Folk Dance) and appreciated Sh. Amar Somany (owner of Dev Sukhdev Dhaba) for the delicious food. Rtn. Dr. Naveen Adlakha, R’Ann Jyoti Arun Gupta also joined the event and welcomed the guests.
