FLAG OFF CEREMONY OF 5000 KM SOLO CYCLING EXPEDITION FROM REWARI

UNITY IN ROTARY SHOWCASE:-
Another Mega Project initiated by Distt. 3011 and hosted by Rotary Club of Rewari Main to promote environment conservation and spread message of “Beti Bachao Beti Padao”.
With blessings of our DG Rtn. Vinay Bhatia Ji and due to sincere efforts of our AG Rtn. Naveen Arora Ji; Our club is facilitating one solo cycling event going to start from Somnath Temple, Gujrat on July 15, 2018 and it will end in Nepal on Sep 02, 2018 covering 7 states of India and 2 of Nepal.
Nari Shakti Award recipient Rtn. Sunita Choken Ji (Mount Everest Vijeta) will cycle 5000 km of distance during this event to give the message of "Beti Bachao Beti Padao" & "Save Earth" to public. This event will be eligible to be enrolled in Limca book of world records.
She is carrying flags of Rotary Club of Rewari Main and these flags will be exchanged with the Rotary clubs going to facilitate her in her route. She will touch various Rotary Districts 3060, 3051, 3054, 3040, 3030, 3261, 3240, 3250, 3291, 3292 and meet representatives of their clubs.
This is one of the major event of Distt 3011 in association with 10 other Rotary Districts of India and Nepal in which 45+ clubs of these districts are helping Rtn. Sunita Ji in her route.

This expedition was flag off by our DG Vinay Bhatia Ji on July 12, 2018 followed by a press conference and tree plantation event. She will start cycling at 08:00 am from Somnath Temple and RC Viraval is facilitating her there.
This is really a very big expedition by this brave Girl to spread message to save girl child.
